Kyrenia Beaches
Acapulco Beach lies about 6 miles to the east of Kyrenia.  Acapulco beach offers the most facilities including windsurfing. Windsurfing is very popular at Acapulco Beach so be sure to enquire. Vogue Beach is located a couple of miles east of Acapulco Beach   offers many facilities in a relaxed setting.  Çatalköy Beach is east of Kyrenia, this beach has recently been cleaned up and is now home to lots of organized water sports. Çatalköy Beach has a restaurant and beach bar and is a very popular weekend destination.  Alagadi Beach is located approximately 10 miles east of Kyrenia and is known as turtle beach.
Alagadi beach is a very popular tourist beach and provides most facilities including sun loungers and a bar.

Escape Beach is located just 5km from Kyrenia city and is one of the most beautiful beaches in Northern Cyprus. Escape beach is the perfect spot to soak up the sun with fine golden sand and clear waters. There are different kinds of water sports including scuba diving, jet ski, banana boats and pedal boating. Escape Beach also has a club, restaurant and bar.

Denizkizi is situated about 7 miles west of Kyrenia. This sheltered bay is kept clean, and offers a variety of water sports including windsurfing, parascending, water skiing, and inflatable fun rafts for smaller children. You can hire a sunbed, and there are also toilet and shower facilities.


Famagusta Beaches: KarpazFamagusta has long been famous for its miles of sandy beaches. Some beaches are owned by North Cyprus hotels and have an entrance fee. There are various beaches in North Cyprus with beach bars, sunshades and sun loungers. The beaches are safe with some great spots for swimming and snorkelling. 

Bediz Beach is situated on the east coast, north of Famagusta and is well signposted from whichever direction you approach. A cooling swim is most welcome after the heat of walking around the Salamis ruins.
Facilities include restaurants, showers, sun loungers and sunshades. 
Glapsides Beach is only 200m away from the Bediz Beach and is the busiest beach around Famagusta city. Glapsides is a long and sandy beach and has a restaurant, bar, mini market, showers and cheap sun loungers with sunshades. 

Karpaz Beaches: The beautiful Northern Cyprus Karpaz has miles and miles of empty sandy beaches.  Malibu Beach provides crystal clear water for good swimming and provides many facilities with good hospitality including a snack bar and sun shades on the beach.  Karpaz is home to a stretch of coastline known as Golden Sands which is made up of 5 miles of un-spoilt beaches and scenery. The Turtles use this beach in the summer for nesting.
